Annexed in 1972 as part of West Jasper Place, this area is named for Colonel F.C. Jamieson, an early Edmonton resident. A fairly new neighbourhood, only about 40 percent of the land area has been developed. It is dominated by single family dwellings, and roughly half the households have children.
